Accommodations for Students in the Process

Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and applicable state laws, ٍٍٍ½خر will reasonably accommodate students who require modifications or adjustments on the basis of a disability, unless a |fundamental alteration or undue hardship applies.

Students seeking a disability accommodation for the UHAS process must register and request an accommodation with AccessibleNU (ANU) where the Associate Dean of Students or designee will review the accommodation request.

When requesting disability-related accommodations, students are responsible for: initiating an accommodation request through ANU; engaging in the interactive process and following ANU’s procedures; and for promptly communicating with ANU if an accommodation is needed or there is a concern about an accommodation’s implementation. For more information on how to register and request accommodations, please visit the AccessibleNU website.
